Retrievable Drill Pipe Mud Screens

Specialty Supply stocks perforated and rod type retrievable drill pipe mud screens designed to be used in either the Kelly or downhole. They are manufactured from the best materials (T-304 stainless steel for perforated models and H-900 heat treated 1/4” thick 17-4 stainless rod for rod models) and are available in 10” to 48” lengths as well as in non-retrievable sizes.

Features
• Perforated screens are made out of heavy duty Stainless 11 gauge T-304 Stainless. Screens can also be made out of 3/16” thick T-304 Stainless.

• Unless specified otherwise on order, fishing neck size will be standard Reed Type A.

• Perforated screen has 3/16” holes on 5/16” centers. Hole sizes from 1/8” to 1/2” are also available.

• Screens from 10” to 48” long are available.

• Screens are also available in non-retrievable sizes.

• Rod screens are made of 1/4” thick 17-4 stainless rod that is H-900 heat treated.

Benefits
• Simple rig handling by use of a permanently connected handle. Various flanges are interchangeable with the basket to fit the required pipe. Flange has tool joint identification stamped on top.

• May be used in the Kelly or downhole. Provides emergency retrieval with a standard overshot if accidentally left in the pipe or if the Kelly becomes stuck down. Shear pins may easily be replaced.
